  • Lead of 80+ contractors: 2 teams in India and 2 in Mexico and previously leading 2 FTE before massive 4,000 person RIF.

  • Release Cycle: iOS & Android Apps launch every week; Hardware launches every few years; Android based OS updates every 4 weeks;

  • Serving as sole QA Lead for Point-of-Sale operations across 17 development teams, post major organizational restructuring, scaling from a 12-person internal team to just one while leading all contractors.

  • Spearheaded comprehensive software and hardware integrated testing initiatives for Square Register and Terminal, overseeing testing efforts across multiple vertical teams from inception to launch.

  • Designed and executed end-to-end regression test plans; analyzed production and staging logs using Bugsnag, Crashlytics, Android Studio, logcat and Xcode. Collaborated with Customer Care and Release Operations teams to promptly address any production feedback and concerns, ensuring swift resolution by on-call engineers.

  • Validated backend sync, multi-location configurations, order routing logic, and ADA compliance.

  • Collaborated with release engineering to validate CCB hotfixes and manage staged rollouts.

  • Led on-call rotations for device lab, hotfix triage, and incident debugging.

  • Leveraging AI agents (Claude, Goose, ChatGPT, BuilderBot, etc) to streamline development workflows including automated test plan generation, intelligent code comparison and analysis, rapid debugging of complex system logs, and technical documentation review.

  • Recruited by Sosh’s CTO and Founder as the first QA tester for their iOS app, Merchant iOS app, Merchant Portal, website, and admin portal.

  • Established a comprehensive QA process integrating QA, development, and product teams to enhance quality control.

  • Facilitated the integration of Jira for official bug tracking, improving coordination between product and engineering teams.

  • Attended all sprint planning and standup meetings, significantly impacting product release timelines based on QA availability.

  • Developed and maintained a database of over 2,000 test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of all Sosh products.
